Trademark Notice

This is the most important disclaimer on the site, so it has its own page rather than a line of small print.

Ownership of marks

Product names, trademarks, trade names, logos and brand imagery referred to on this website belong to their respective owners. No ownership of, or right in, any third-party mark is claimed by Alpes ZH Groothandel

Independent trading status

Alpes ZH Groothandel is an independent wholesaler and does not claim to be an authorized distributor, representative or affiliate of any trademark owner unless expressly stated.

Where an authorised arrangement does exist for a specific brand, it is recorded against that brand in our system and displayed on the brand's page. Every other brand displays “Independent trade supply”. The default in our data model is independent trade — an authorisation claim has to be entered deliberately, and cannot appear by accident.

Why brands are named

Brands are named to describe goods we are able to procure and supply, which is how trade buyers identify what they want to purchase. Naming a brand is not a claim of endorsement, partnership, sponsorship or exclusivity, and no such relationship should be inferred.

Brand assets and illustrative photography

We do not scrape brand websites, and we do not reproduce assets licensed to anyone else. Product photographs in the catalogue are independently licensed for commercial use, and every one is credited at image credits.

Those photographs identify goods we are able to procure and supply. They are not supplied or approved by the trademark owners, and no authorisation, endorsement or distribution right should be inferred from their presence. No packaging specification should be read from them either — volume, closure, case configuration and production origin come from our records and are confirmed at quotation.

Where no product photograph has been verified for a brand, the catalogue shows a general brewing photograph marked Illustrative instead — hops, malt, brewing plant, kegs or storage. Those do not depict the brand alongside which they appear, and are labelled as such wherever they are shown.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on this site misrepresents your brand or our relationship to it, contact us using the details in the footer and we will address it promptly.

Territorial rights

Distribution rights for branded beer differ by territory, and in some cases the same brand is lawfully sold under different names in different markets. Product availability is subject to stock, destination, packaging specification, applicable trademark rights and territorial distribution restrictions, and destinations engaging a restriction are reviewed before any quotation is issued.
