About Wheat Beer in international trade

Two traditions dominate. Bavarian Weissbier — Paulaner, Erdinger, Weihenstephaner — is full-bodied with banana and clove yeast character, usually packed in 500 ml glass, 12 to a case. Witbier — Hoegaarden, 1664 Blanc — is lighter, spiced with coriander and citrus, and packed to the 330 ml lager standard.
The packaging difference has practical consequences. A pallet of 12 x 500 ml Weissbier does not carry the same case count or gross weight as a pallet of 24 x 330 ml lager, so substituting a wheat beer into a loading plan built on lager assumptions will change the numbers. Confirm pallet configuration per SKU before fixing a loading plan. Commercially, wheat beer earns its place by giving a container something competitors shipping only pale lager do not have.
