Every photograph on this site is licensed for commercial use and is listed below with its creator, source and licence — including those whose licence does not require it.

Brand pack shots

Most catalogue entries show a photograph of the product named on the card. Each was matched to its brand individually and checked by eye before being added — a pack shot makes a claim about the product, so none is assigned automatically.

These photographs are used to identify goods available for supply. They are not supplied by the trademark owners, imply no authorisation, endorsement or distribution right, and no packaging specification should be read from them: volume, closure, case configuration and production origin come from our records and are confirmed at quotation. Illustrative photography

Where no pack shot has been verified for a brand, the catalogue shows a general brewing photograph marked Illustrative instead. These show hops, malt, brewing plant, kegs, bottling lines and beer storage, and are assigned by beer style so the image at least belongs to the right part of the process.

They are not photographs of the products they appear beside. No product characteristic — colour, packaging, closure, container or fill — should be inferred from them. Frames containing a legible third-party mark were excluded when this library was assembled, so no image implies a relationship with any brewery or brand. Each is replaced as soon as a licensed asset is supplied for that brand.

Licences

Three licences are in use, all permitting commercial use:

  • Unsplash License — commercial use permitted, no attribution required, no share-alike obligation.
  • CC0 1.0 and Public Domain Mark — no rights reserved; credited here as a courtesy rather than an obligation.
  • CC BY 2.0 / 2.5 — commercial use permitted, attribution mandatory. Credited here and again beneath the image wherever it appears in editorial context.

Share-alike licences (CC BY-SA) are deliberately not used, since the obligation they impose needs review by counsel before it applies to a commercial site.
