Pilsner Wholesale

Pilsner is the most exported beer style in the world. Czech, German and Belgian interpretations differ enough that buyers should specify which they mean.

The word "pilsner" covers a wider commercial range than buyers sometimes expect. Czech pilsner — Pilsner Urquell, Budvar — is fuller-bodied and markedly more bitter, with a genuine origin story that supports premium positioning. German pils — Beck’s, Bitburger, Warsteiner — is drier and crisper, and brewed under the Reinheitsgebot, which is useful supporting information in markets where ingredient declarations are scrutinised. Belgian and international pilsners such as Stella Artois sit between the two and travel with the widest recognition.

If your requirement says only "pilsner", expect a clarifying question. The three groups are not interchangeable in a market where the end customer knows the difference, and they are priced differently.
